"Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand, I don't care, I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me..." -The Ballad of Serenity

"Mofo’ Risin’"
Mofo’ Risin’ is a unique collection of depressed poems derived by the heartless society that we live in today. Only to leave this shell of a man until he figures out the truth that love comes from is deep within oneself, as in the lines of “Bravery beyond belief” and “No turning him around” from Josephs poem Black Man. Joseph leaves you wanting more of these heart felt poems that flows with how we really feel in this world. The real world! The world - that cares about no one.

"Corpses Are Forever--Dr. No, Get Your Heart Eaten Out!"
Zombie spy thriller action!

"COMEDY: Fat Albert"
I grew up in the 70’s loving the cartoon “Fat Albert”. It showed me that a group of teenagers can and will stand up for the rights of others. Fat Albert was always trying to help others and make them happy, even if that meant Fat Albert getting into trouble. When this movie came out I was a little skeptical on whether it was going to be worth watching or not. But knowing that I loved Fat Albert as a kid, I felt it was only right to give the movie a shot. It is not the same as the cartoon but it is well written with a knowledgeable plot.

"Album: Nine Sleepless Nights"
Sitting down to listen to the CD “Nine Sleepless Nights” by Ronnie Day makes me think along the lines of love and passion. The passion that he has incorporated into his music and the love of the songs shine through his voice as he sings. Most musicians in today’s society sing intellectually, but they have no clue to the true feelings of music. This is not Ronnie’s case though, his songs are sung from the heart! A heart that can make a grumbler turn endearing. There is no turning back. Once you have heard his work you will want to hear more.

"Salonen Soars!"
Wing on Wing: New Orchestral Works by Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra

"CLASSICAL: Bostridge and Andsnes"
Welcome to the Classical Rveiew.

"Uchida is Transcendent"
Schubert: Piano Sonata in E-flat major, D. 568, 6 Moments musicaux ~ Franz Schubert

"Remastered Masterpiece"
Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 6 "Pathétique"; Romeo and Juliet ~ Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky

"New Susan Graham Recital"
Bauderlaire Settings / Poeme D Amour / Sheherazade Cycles for voice and orchestra of music by Chausson, Ravel, Debussy

"A Hit and a Miss - Reading Corner"
Koontz's Frankenstein misses the mark; The Meq hits the right chord

"Catch It!"
Waltz For Venus is a band from Indianapolis. They are diffently making waves!

"R&B/SOUL: Get Lifted/John Legend"
Protégé of hip-hop producer/artist extraordinaire Kanye West, John Legend sets to make his mark as one of the great R&B/Soul singers the world has seen in decades.

"Pop, Hip Hop: “Rich Girl”/Gwen Stefani featuring Eve"
“Rich Girl” is the second release from Gwen Stefani’s platinum plus debut, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. It also marks the second time Gwen Stefani and rapper Eve have teamed up to collaborate on a song.

"Experimental Music: Warning/Kamil"
Warning is right: Wish someone had been able to "warn" me...

"Experimental Music: Warning/Kamil"
Warning is right: Wish someone had been able to "warn" me...

"INDIE: The Front/The Bradbury Press"
Seattle boys The Bradbury Press show Seattle's legendary musical prowess with a different hook.... and it's really good!

"R&B, Hip Hop: Concrete Rose/Ashanti"
Ashanti Douglas has been more than a notable face in the music industry every since she was featured on Ja Rule’s monster 2002 hit, “Always On Time” and then subsequently on the Fat Joe hit, “What’s Luv?” While riding high on the successes of both singles, Ashanti released her self-titled debut album in 2002 to first week sales of over 500,000 (best opening sales ever for a debut female solo artist) and it eventually went on to selling over three million copies in the U.S. alone. The set featured the certified hits “Happy,” “Baby,” and “Foolish.” (the latter ruled the pole position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 10 consecutive weeks) In 2003, Ashanti released her sophomore album, Chapter II, which featured the hit singles “Rock Wit U” (Awww Baby) and “Rain On Me”.

"MOTLEY CRUE – “RED, WHITE & CRUE TOUR 2005 – BETTER LIVE THAN DEAD”"
In case you haven’t heard, the original Motley Crue is back together and headed out on the road for some wild and exuberance Crue fun. The band reunited Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars just in time to save Rock-N-Roll. So move over punk bands and stand back because Motley Crue is back and better than ever.
