Only to leave this shell of a man until he figures out the truth that love comes from is deep within oneself, as in the lines of “Bravery beyond belief” and “No turning him around” from Josephs poem Black Man. It showed me that a group of teenagers can and will stand up for the rights of others. Fat Albert was always trying to help others and make them happy, even if that meant Fat Albert getting into trouble. When this movie came out I was a little skeptical on whether it was going to be worth watching or not. But knowing that I loved Fat Albert as a kid, I felt it was only right to give the movie a shot. It is not the same as the cartoon but it is well written with a knowledgeable plot. The passion that he has incorporated into his music and the love of the songs shine through his voice as he sings. Most musicians in today’s society sing intellectually, but they have no clue to the true feelings of music. This is not Ronnie’s case though, his songs are sung from the heart!
