Wow! Now here’s one for the psychopath’s out there. A totally screwed up individual that loves to see others in pain. He is trying, in his passionate way, to teach his victims the true value of life. Can you actually call someone a serial killer if he doesn’t KILL his victims? Humm I’ll make you wonder about that one!
Despite it’s obvious flaws and Danny Glovers dreadful performance - Saw has to be one of the best B-rated films that I have seen in a long time. If you really think about it this movie could hit home, which is where the scary parts come in at.
Adam (Leigh Wannell) and Lawrence Gordon (Cary Elwes) wake up in a dark dilapidated bathroom chained to rusty pipes on opposite sides of the room. Between them lies the body of a dead man in a pool of blood who apparently has blown his brains out. Adam searches his pockets and finds a recorded tape sealed in a baggy and so does Lawrence. Adam uses his shirt to pry the recorder from the dead man’s hand. After listening to both recordings they bond together to try to come out of this situation alive. This becomes a controversy when Lawrence’s family is brought into the scene. As the plot thickens they discover that they already know of other victims that has died due to Jigsaw (the name police have given this psychopath killer). Like the lady that bearly escapes the contraption that he put on her head. If she had not retrieved the key from a live man’s stomach her head would have been blown apart.
Jigsaw was given this name due to his bloody calling card where he brands a shape of a jigsaw puzzle piece on his victims. The shocking fact of Jigsaw is that he keeps his hands clean by making his victims mutilate themselves. Now the games begin in this chilling thriller of SAW! Who is Kathy Erwood? My family comes before any other thing in my life. I enjoy riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers in the woods with them on the weekends.
